I am currently enrolled in a college-level English course which is a requirement for my continuing education on my actual job. English was my best subject at school. I enjoyed it. I loved it.

Well, this one has been a real blow.

The professor seems to be in a constant battle with me because HE is a published author of a few minor things and I am ALSO published, though I have many more titles under by belt. His power struggle is costing me my sanity and my grade. He refuses to get HIS work done on time, so keeps pushing our deadlines back so that our papers are due on top of each other.

What. The. Fuck. Man.

There has never been a time when I have so actively fought for the end of someone's career.

Until today.

Here's a tip for anyone reading.

If your ego is too big to allow you to live a normal life where you treat other human beings as if they were honest folks, then you don't belong in the education profession. Your fuckery doesn't belong in the lives of others, nor does your history. You teach. You grade. You go home. You DON'T beat a student down because you think they are competition.
